On April 17th, 2026, we reached another important milestone in our Mobile4D project: together with 15 other Bachelor’s and Master’s projects, we presented our results at the MZH on the University of Bremen campus.
With a total of 16 projects and around 150 students involved, it quickly became clear how diverse, practical, and internationally oriented project work during university studies can be. The project fair was far more than a traditional presentation event—it created space for exchange, feedback, and collaboration between students, academic staff, and lecturers.
One of the highlights this year was the new presentation format of Elevator Pitches. Instead of long presentations, each team had only a few minutes to present their project in a clear, concise, and engaging way. This not only created a more dynamic atmosphere but also encouraged everyone to focus on the core idea of their work.
After the pitches, the event continued with live demonstrations at the project booths. Visitors had the opportunity to experience our applications directly and try them out themselves. The main focus was on the current Mobile4D projects: SIRcraft, ePro, eConsent, TM-VAX, 4Trace, Mosquito Classification, Microclimate Monitoring, and TB Sudan.
We presented our software solutions using realistic test data, answered questions, and discussed challenges for further development. All projects address real-world challenges in global health and medical care, demonstrating how digital technologies can contribute to sustainable and practical solutions.
From epidemiological analysis in SIRcraft and AI-based mosquito species classification to digital processes in clinical studies through eConsent and ePro, the wide range of Mobile4D applications became clearly visible. Projects such as TM-VAX, 4Trace, TB Sudan, and Microclimate Monitoring further highlighted the diversity of our work and its practical relevance.
Looking back, the project fair was much more than a presentation event. It showed how much innovation, teamwork, and commitment are embedded in Mobile4D. The combination of Elevator Pitches, live demonstrations, and direct exchange made one thing especially clear: successful project and research work depends above all on collaboration, communication, and shared ideas. That is exactly what defines Mobile4D.
