Our project “DENCAI – DENgue CAse Investigation” has won the first Transfer Prize awarded by the University of Bremen! On October 22, 2024, we were honored with this €2,000 award in recognition of outstanding collaboration and innovation.
Together with our partners from Mahidol University in Bangkok, we developed DENCAI, a system designed to help track and combat dengue outbreaks. Last year, we successfully tested it in a pilot phase in Chon Buri Province.
We are especially grateful for the recognition of our students’ dedication, whose significant contributions to the project greatly impressed the jury. This award reaffirms the societal impact of our work and motivates us to further expand the project to reach even more people.
